Abstract

In this paper, an analysis of a perfectly conducting cylinder, covered with a layer of metamaterial, with a nonlinear loads, is carried out. The problem is solved by the method of integral equations using nonlinear boundary conditions on the surface of nonlinear load. Using a simulating of the problem in HFSS, metamaterial parameters, provided which excitation of surface waves occurs, were calculated. The radiation patterns of the structure with one nonlinear load on the fundamental frequency and on the second harmonic are shown.
