Abstract
In 1981, planning was initiated for an expansion to the AIRTRANS system at the Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) Airport. In order to prevent disruption to existing AIRTRANS services, detailed planning was necessary to ensure a coordinated construction project. Specific program participant assignments were established using a matrix format which identified specific program tasks and a breakdown of AIRTRANS expansion elements.
