Abstract

New LMI criteria for L2 - Linfin and Hinfin performances of continuous-time uncertain systems are proposed, which keep the Lyapunov matrices out of any product with the system matrices. When used in robust mixed L2 - Linfin and filtering, the design conservatism is reduced since the restriction is removed that both L2 - Linfin and Hinfin performances are enforced by a single closed-loop Lyapunov matrix
