Abstract
Hamamatsu Photonics has been providing photomultiplier tubes for Neutrino physics experiments for long time. 20-inch photomultiplier tube is one of them. It was used for Kamiokande and Super-Kamiokande and will be used for Hyper-Kamiokande. Developmental stories for Kamiokande, Super-Kamiokande and Hyper-Kamiokande are described in this paper.
