Abstract

For the last few years, with other suggested days by the United Nations for international observance, 11 March has been over served as an international day of “Islamic Culture, Message for Peace and Dialogue”. The purpose behind observance of this day is to promote Islamic culture through dialogue, art, and film, but the Muslims, being the followers of Allah’s revelation with the knowledge of Islamic culture and tradition there is more need than ever before to be vigilant about the threats posed to Islamic traditions and civilization?Below is the essay that covers the reality of cultural conflicts, the meaning of culture, and the analysis of the characteristics of Islamic civilization.
