Abstract

The increasing proportion of renewable energy participating in power systems brings new challenges to power system planning. It requires power planning to consider the uncertain impact of the high proportion of renewable energy. In this paper, a method for analyzing and calculating the simultaneity rate of renewable energy output is proposed considering the abandoned power. By analyzing the actual operation data of renewable energy, the corresponding output simultaneity rate of each data point is calculated. Then, the annual simultaneity rate of renewable energy output is calculated considering the requirement of the abandoned power rate.
