Abstract

Based on the characteristic of uncertainty and multi-disturbance of variable-speed of SGIG for wind power generation system, a self-adaptive PID controller was proposed for harvesting the maximum power from wind. Self-adaptive parameters self-turning control and vector control were used via mathematical model of SCIG-wind energy generator system. The controller was designed in Matlab and dSPACE respectively. The simulation and experimental results showed that the self-adaptive PID controller proposed had faster response speed and better anti-interference capability than the classic PID, and the efficiency and quality of wind energy conversion system were also improved.
