A method for Frequency of Arrival (FOA) determination of ADS-B transponder messages is introduced. The FDOA of a message received at a sensor pair can be calculated from the corresponding FOAs. This method decreases the communication requirements drastically as the need to transmit the received signals to a reference sensor or fusion center is eliminated. Abstract
