Politicas institucionais de formacao docente e pratica pedagogica : um estudo no sudoeste do Parana

Abstract

This work discusses some outcomes of a study which investigated the expansion of higher education in the southwest of Paraná, Brazil. The study identi ed a number of issues such as: the interfaces between the institutional policies for Higher Education Institutions and the legal guidelines, the genesis and the institutional policies con guration and how these are re ected in daily pedagogical practices. This article focuses, more speci cally, on the issue of teacher education institutional policies and their impact upon pedagogical practices. The conclusion argues that teacher education processes structured in the institutions addressed echo the pedagogical-educative teaching statute and the construction of the pedagogical 1 Professora da Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná / Campus Pato Branco.
