Abstract
An essential requirement for dual active bridge (DAB) converters is with good dynamic performance under all operating conditions. In this paper, an improved model reference adaptive control strategy (IMRAC) based on unified phase-shift (UPS) scheme is proposed for DAB converters, to improve its dynamic performance. By the form of state feedback, an error feedback is added to the reference model of traditional model reference adaptive control (MRAC), so that the proposed IMRAC can not only ensure the global stability of the system, but improve the dynamic performance of MRAC strategy. Finally, the simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed strategy.
