Abstract
The forward-looking imaging problem of synthetic aperture radar (SAR) can be resolved by adopting the bistatic configuration. A bistatic configuration with a stationary transmitter and a forward-looking receiver is introduced and the two-dimensional spectrum is derived, and then an improved nonlinear chirp scaling algorithm is used to focus the data.
