Adults find it difficult to find ways to develop potential, underestimate the role of research activities in this process. This indicates the insufficient methodological readiness of teachers to effectively solve problems (the choice of methods, forms of work, techniques and the creation of the necessary conditions). The article presents research tasks, identifies ways for children of 6-7 years old to demonstrate leadership qualities. Abstract

This article reveals the features of the manifestation of leadership potential in activity by older preschoolers, considers the need to develop leadership potential during childhood, shows the author’s view on the organization of research activitiesas a means of establishing this quality.
