Abstract
Enhancements to TV video and audio elements are rapidly rolling out ahead of standards efforts. These enhancements include a mix of improved image and sound quality, increased compression ratios, interactivity, and more robust physical layers. There is much written about these developments, but scripted words cannot do justice to face-to-face demonstrations. By using still photos, this article attempts to provide at least some of the flavor of the visually enhanced TV developments.
