Abstract
Iterative field reconstruction for dispersion compensation in IM/DD transmission systems is studied. Numerical simulation and a preliminary experiment show that the mixed use of Fienup input-output and Gerchberg-Saxton (GS) algorithms can give faster field reconstruction than the use of GS algorithm alone.
