Leadership styles and stress are the most important factors that affect the efficiency of teaching.This research paper aims to investigate how age, gender and educational differences influence the teachers’ reaction to interpret and react to the leadership characteristics of their headmasters. A quantitative research method was employed and a questionnaire was chosen as an instrument to collect the data for this research. The questionnaires were distributed to the schools and a total of 102 valid responses were received. The population of this study includes 102 full time and part time teachers in five 9-year-schools located in the city of Tirana. 25 questionnaires were collected at “De Rada” school, 24 questionnaires at “Fan Noli”, 20 questionnaires at “Emin Duraku”, 10 questionnaires at “Mihal Grameno” 23 questionnaires at “Skënder Caci” school, in the district of Tirana, Albania. The collected data was entered into SPSS version 25 for statistical analysis using descriptive and analytic methods.In the findings of this study, there was a substantial positive relationship between leadership style and stress at work.
