Finite Element Method (FEM) serves as a tool for this kind of numerical analysis. Also different control strategies and model order reduction has been mentioned for AMB systems. For modeling of AMB systems, the opportunities of fruitfully using MOR is indicated. Abstract

Active Magnetic Bearings, abbreviated as AMB, is an inherent part of electromagnetic rotational structure which can levitate the rotor without any physical contact. The use of AMB is growing very rapidly nowadays in current industries because of swift progress made in electronic devices and control structure algorithms.
