They are researched including the PGH-based shape coding, the prediction of the match cost, and the PGH-based retrieval. The PGH-based retrieval model of the ceramic productions is analyzed, proposed and applied to the ceramic retrieval experiment at last. The experimental results show that the PGH-based retrieval has the high retrieval accuracy to the same kind of target with different size or direction. Abstract
