Abstract

In the paper the 3D structure of the landing gear is modeled by Solid Works. Then, the Workbench function in Ansys was used to add the material properties of the axle mount of aircraft nose landing gear, divide the mesh of different sizes and add the pressure. The whole simulation will be divided into two tests, the first is to add the airframe pressure in the negative direction of Z axis, the second is to add the ground reaction force in the positive direction of Z axis. By comparing Factor of Safety (FOS) of air craft, so as to determine whether the carrying capacity of the axle mount meets the requirements.
