It is a part of the complex scientific and applied problem of improvement of calculation of operating processes of marine and industrial mechanisms. The system of correct mathematical expressions for calculation of starting areas of the mechanical and electromechanical characteristics of asynchronous drives is obtained. The expressions address the disadvantages of the traditional formulas by Kloss and Shubenko. The proposed dependencies allow reducing labour intensity of the calculation, extending functional possibilities of the calculation means, improving the accuracy of the calculation of the starting areas. Abstract
The task of optimization of calculation of operating characteristics of asynchronous drives has been solved.
