Abstract

Due to the impact of global warming, the global average sea level (GMSL) is constantly rising. This global phenomenon has caused coastal land and marine islands to face the risk of being submerged by seawater. This paper will establish a time series model to assess the possible occurrence of this risk, while predicting how many people may be forced to become environmentally displaced persons (EDPs) in order to propose corresponding protective measures for refugees and their culture.
