Abstract

A RoF system based on the OCS modulation for WDM-PON is presented and experimentally evaluated as a solution for next generation broadband access networks. 20-GHz subcarrier system over 25 km transmission is established and verified. Suppressing the optical carrier enables the baseband signals and radio frequency (RF) signals to be detected by photodiode.
