Využívání bezpilotních dálkově řízených systémů v archeologii a památkové péči v prostorech měst a obcí : správné legislativní postupy

Abstract

One of the most quickly developing documentation methods, not only in the 21st century archaeology, became the aerial imaging with the help of unmanned aircraft systems (incorrectly termed drone). However, the possibilities and operational capacity of their use for scientific purposes have been complicated by national and, since recently, also international legislation. Apart from excep-tions in licensed pilots, legislation significantly hinders flying in the area of towns and villages or in protective zones of transport infrastructure, water sources and other places, where archaeological rescue excavations and other types of archaeological field research are commonly conducted. The aim of this paper is to introduce the basic legislation and duties of pilots for a successful perfor-mance of aerial work in these locations, including practical examples. The text is mainly intended for those interested in the given problem and for trainee pilots, but also for fresh aerial work license holders, who may be confused about the problem.
