Abstract
In this article, we present implementation of a flower shaped microstrip antenna for the radio frequency identification (RFID). The compact antenna has a flower shaped radiator which is fed by microstrip feedline and is placed on FR4 substrate. The fractal slots are introduced in the radiator to get better impedance matching, and more impedance bandwidth. The impedance bandwidth of the antenna ranges from 1.88 GHz to 7 GHz (S11 <=-10dB). The proposed antenna provides good impedance matching with omnidirectional radiation patterns. The simulation analysis is performed by HFSS’13.
