STUDIES ON THE POST ECCENTRIC PRETENSIONED PRESTRESSED CONCRETE SHEET PILE

Abstract

The developed the Post-Eccentric Pretensioning Method, which is based on the new idea that releases the prestress in the compressive zone of an ordinary prestressed concrete sheet pile, and studied several aspects of the method. This paper presents his theoretical and experimental studies. A brief descrip-tion of the PEP Method, the reason why this method has been developed, and what its principles are --- are given in chapter 2 of this paper.
