However, CCTV operations suck a lot of resources such as electricity usage, storage usage, and video output supervisors. This research aim is to improve the current CCTV system by implementing Internet of Things (IoT) technology so the goal of automation and advanced data processing can be achieved. The proposed system is composed of sensor node that has implemented a motion sensor whose role is to detect movement and inform it, the gateway as the core/controller of other components, and camera node to capture images from the environment. Abstract

Thievery is the most common criminal activity. It holds the record of the most happening crime. It needs much effort to do for prevention for a place with a dense population and growing economic. One of the solutions is to implement CCTV system. However, CCTV operations suck a lot of resources such as electricity usage, storage usage, and video output supervisors.
