Abstract
In the article, the information from the sources representing the history of the Fergana Valley is compared with the materials of archaeological research. Also, the materials obtained as a result of the archaeological study of the history of socio-political, economic and cultural life of cities such as Akhsikent and Kuva, which are considered to be major archaeological monuments of the Fergana Valley, were considered together with the information from the sources.
