Abstract

In a previous proposal, we propose a scheduler that enhances the usage of the radio blocks (RBs). This paper consists of an extension of our previous scheme in order to find a good trade-off between both the delay and the PLR. The proposition consists of a scheduler based on the packet prediction mechanism (PPM). This scheduler provides the exact time at which a flow has to be served. Further, several simulations are launched in order to evaluate the performance of our proposition. Captured results are followed by a comparative study with some reported schedulers.
