Preparing video script materials with a word processor

Abstract

Preparing a video script for your training program can, and usually does, require a high tolerance for chaos. For those of us who do not function well under such circumstances, a word processor can be a strong force for reducing anxiety, as well as program development and editing time. I was recently confronted with the task of preparing a hundred page technical skills script for production. The final videotape was ninety minutes in length but, happily, production went very smoothly because of my collaboration with a very alert word processing operator.
