The target group consisting of 300 female middle managers from Western, Central and Southern provinces in Sri Lanka and sample selection by cluster random sampling of probability sampling method. The results analyzed by SPSS version 20 established that, the existence of Significant Positive Correlations among i) Psychological Empowerment (PE) and Work – Life Balance (WLB), ii) Work – Life Balance (WLB) and Job Satisfaction (JS), iii) Psychological Empowerment (PE) and Job Satisfaction (JS) and iv) the mediation effect of Work – Life Balance (WLB) with the relationship between Psychological Empowerment (PE) and Job Satisfaction (JS). In consideration of the findings of this paper, adding to the existing literature, the employers are recommended to take timely initiatives on improving Job Satisfaction, Work-Life Balance and Psychological empowerment employees for profit maximization. Abstract

工作-生活平衡对斯里兰卡银行女性员工心理赋权与工作满意度关系的中介作用研究
本实证定量研究旨在探讨工作与生活平衡对斯里兰卡银行女性员工心理赋权与工作满意度关系的中介作用。这是根据国际劳工组织关于限制女工对斯里兰卡国民经济作出贡献的报告得出的。银行业的选择是基于对该国服务业劳动力需求的巨大贡献。目标群体为来自斯里兰卡西部、中部和南部省份的300名女性中层管理人员,样本选取采用概率抽样法的整群随机抽样。通过SPSS 20版分析结果发现,i)心理授权(PE)与工作-生活平衡(WLB)、ii)工作-生活平衡(WLB)与工作满意度(JS)、iii)心理授权(PE)与工作满意度(JS)、iv)工作-生活平衡(WLB)在心理授权(PE)与工作满意度(JS)之间存在显著的正相关关系。鉴于本文的研究结果,在现有文献的基础上,建议雇主及时采取措施,提高员工的工作满意度、工作与生活的平衡和心理赋权,以实现利润最大化。个体员工应该被引导到整合心理授权措施,以提高工作满意度,工作与生活的平衡,理解和维持自己的“工作生命周期”。
