Still during the last 200 years Siberia demonstrated rapid development of industry, science and culture. It is shown in the paper that this progress is connected with the leading brunches of knowledge - such as physics, electronics and information technologies. Abstract
The paper gives the short historical description of the social-cultural development of Siberia - the vast geographical region of the Asian part of Russia.
