Abstract
A dynamic theory of a microwave power amplifier/combiner is presented and a gain expression is obtained at small input signal level. It is found that the gain-bandwidth product (GBP) will increase when the resonant frequency difference /spl delta//sub 21/ of these two combined amplifiers increases, so that by controlling /spl delta//sub 21/ one can obtain a broader bandwidth than the single amplifier whose GBP is constant 1.<>
