The looming of NoSQL databases proved to be one of the best solutions for handling these kind of schema-less data. This work comprises about the various characteristics of NOSQL databases. The performance comparison of two widely used Document-oriented NOSQL databases viz MongoDB and CouchDB are analysed in this work. Abstract
Due to exponential growth of data over the years, there are lot of formats in which the data is available.
