Abstract

As the micro-Doppler frequency will be added to the Doppler frequency caused by space target translational movement, which brings difficulty to the micro-Doppler characters extraction, a new method to realize accurate translational movement compensation based on empirical model decomposition (EMD) is proposed. The effect on micro-Doppler feature extraction induced by space object trajectory movement is analyzed. The trajectory motion compensation of echoes is realized and the micro-Doppler feature is extracted. Simulations are given to validate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
