Abstract

With ever increased mobility in our dynamic society, the need for a low power portable handset and cost-effective access to a wide array of telecommunication network services has been recognized. A successfully deployed personal communication services (PCS) network will not only provide access to today's wire-line network services but also manage customer mobility seamlessly and transparently.
