This study identifies fantasy as the most important fictional genre in literature and analyzes its importance with several scientific approaches. It also examines the characteristics of the ongoing fiction and fantasy genres. Abstract
The aim of this study is to provide an academic analysis of the fantasy genre emerging in literature as a new literary term. Each country introduces new terms and literary genres into its own literature, recognizes its essence, and then tries to reconcile it with its own culture.
