Abstract

The article considers the issue of using renewable energy sources in the Republic of Ingushetia to provide sustainable electricity supplies, increase the quality of electric power and bridge the gaps in capacity which restrict the Republic's industrial growth. Nowadays Ingushetia faces the problems of arrears on electricity bills, opacity of accounting system, low quality and sustainability of power supplies. The article gives the general description of the region and the data on the feasibility of using solar, wind and geothermal energy.
