Abstract
Paediatric brain tumours (PBT) are a unique entity, in children and in the overall general brain tumour population. They are distinct from adult brain tumours for several reasons, including patient-related factors (size, blood volume), location of the tumours, histological and genetic factors, treatment factors, and prognosis.
