Abstract

This paper proposes a new approach for evaluation of power systems reliability using Monte Carlo Simulation. Using standard Monte Carlo Simulation, a composite of Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) and Importance Sampling (IS) is proposed for computing power system reliability indices.
