Abstract
This paper presents modelling and control study of a bidirectional non-isolated interleaved DC- DC converter with high voltage gain. The nonisolated converter under study combines the advantages of switched capacitors and coupled inductors. Series connected switched capacitors with inductor cells helped to achieve high conversion ratio and reduced voltage stress on power components. An average current mode control is used to control output current and input current of non-isolated bidirectional dc-dc converter at both stages boost converter as well as buck converter. A state space modeling and an average current mode control analysis at the boost stage are given in details in this paper. Simulation results are based on some experimental data of non-isolated bidirectional dc-dc converter of high power application.
