Abstract
The decarbonisation of the economy calls for an increase in demand from renewable power supply, that in many countries has to be provided by variable renewable energy source (vRES) like wind and solar. In this article, we will give an outlook on how system friendly wind turbines can contribute to mitigate this challenge today and improve future cross-sectorial use.
