Abstract

The paper describes a number of modifications of induction motors, in which the improvement of energy parameters is achieved by changing the shape of the rod along the length of the rotor. This enhances the effect of current displacement during starting in comparison with conventional motors, increases the starting torque and reduces the starting current.
