The pre- and post-tests were scored using a speech assessment rubric, which assessed students' grammar, vocabulary, fluency, pronunciation, and comprehension. Abstract

The main purpose of this study is to present role-playing techniques as a means to promote oral expression in eighth, ninth and tenth grade students in a public school in Cañar-Ecuador.
