Abstract

The wide application of remote education is recognized which includes video meeting, multimedia teaching, remote simulation experiment and remote lab etc. The new generation Microsoft software platform - MS.NET presents a new innovation for developing a networked virtual instrument lab. This paper introduces developing a virtual instrument toolkit based on a VS.NET platform in which the hierarchy of the toolkit and the development method, based on a component mode, is emphasized.
