Abstract

Lightning is one of the important factors affecting the normal operation of distribution lines. In order to improve the economy of lightning protection transformation of distribution lines, this paper builds a risk assessment and lightning characteristic calculation model according to the actual lines, and determines the lightning hazard risk level of each line section according to the lightning trip rate. The calculation model and results can provide reference for subsequent lightning protection strategies of distribution lines.
