PECULIARITIES OF THE GREEN ECONOMY IN TODAY'S ENVIRONMENT

Abstract

The transformation of the world economy manifests many ecological problems and the study of the features of the green economy in modern conditions is relevant. The transformation of the economy to a "green" economy is becoming increasingly evident, but the processes of greening are much slower than the rate of escalating environmental degradation of the planet. To solve the environmental problems of sustainable development the following tasks should be a priority: strengthening the role of the state in the development of a green economy; improving the legal mechanisms to regulate the economic development of countries in the context of a green economy; creating financial mechanisms and resources to ensure the goals set; increasing the effectiveness of renewable energy sources, etc.
