Abstract
Dual-wavelength operation of Yb:YAP laser with an intracavity birefringent filter (BRF) was demonstrated. By using a 1 mm-thick BRF, DW pairs with wavelength separation ranging from 1.8 nm up to 11.3 nm could be generated based on gain balancing provided by a single transmission peak of the filter.
