Abstract
The work is devoted to methods for increasing the reliability of units and elements in electrical equipment, electronic systems and parts. The necessity to take into account survivability and reliability in the designing and manufacturing special equipment process is considered. The analysis failure percentage is given. The methods to protect electronic systems and units in special vehicles are proposed. It is shown that the main reasons for the failure of the electronic control system units are vibrations, shock loads, damage by bullets, fragments of mines and shells. The reduction of these loads and impacts is achieved by installing appropriate dampers, shock absorbers, armor protection elements, using shock-vibration-resistant and heat-resistant materials, and duplicating systems. As an option, new layered armor plate construction is proposed. From this prospect, the optimal reliability and survivability of the electronic control systems units are determined. It has been established that electrical systems and control units have the highest percentage of failures in operating conditions and the fulfillment of target tasks. To avoid this the new construction of armor plates is proposed. The mathematical modelling has shown the significant results, which should be proven at the experimental level in terms of polygons to have possibility to take into account not only vehicle units, but also geographical structure.
