Abstract

Considering the increasing development of naval destroyers and the obvious advantages of marine gas turbine, this paper designs a novel COGAG (Combined Gas-turbine And Gas-turbine) propulsion system which mainly consists of four GT25 marine gas turbines and one CCG (Cross Connection Gears) for the large destroyer. Firstly, the overall configuration and key devices of COGAG propulsion system are introduced briefly.
