Abstract

This study aims to differences in mathematical understanding ability and motivation between students who use the Project Based Learning methode and students who use the Problem Based Learning methode in terms of gender (male and female), in. The method used in this research is the Comparative Causal method with convergent Mixed Method (qualitative and quantitative) data analysis techniques. The population is all eighth grade students of SMPN 3 Banjaran Majalengka, samples of class VIII A and VIII B.
