Abstract

Dust particles are developed in the cement kiln device during the production of the cement. At some point, the dust escapes into the atmosphere and pollutes the air and environment. A dry Electrostatic Precipitator (ESP) was required in order to minimize the pollution. It was designed using Autodesk Inventor Professional software. A numerical simulation was conducted using the boundary conditions to determine the separator efficiencies, particle resident times and particle velocities at different cases.
